Project Overview
Carruthers was contracted to perform the earthworks for the Thyme Rothwell Lifestyle Resort, including stormwater and sewer network installations. The project required robust, efficient and safe solutions for both stormwater drainage and sewer maintenance, supporting the development’s internal road network and future clubhouse facilities.
Carruthers required solutions that could be installed quickly and safely under roadways, without compromising on durability or performance.
BlackMax – The stormwater solution that made sense.
Carruthers selected Iplex’s BlackMax structured wall polypropylene pipes, specifically DN750 and DN900 diameters, for the stormwater installation. 550-metres of BlackMax stormwater pipes were laid beneath the subdivision roads, forming the backbone of the drainage system.

For the Sewer network 15 EziPit’s 1000 maintenance structures were selected.
