With population growth in the region of Yarra Valley and no major sewage transfer infrastructure the Amaroo Main Sewer Project was part of a five-year investment to the region and will provide a wastewater infrastructure for future development.
Project Overview
Through the early phases of the project Iplex and RPC Pipe Systems worked with the customer to ensure FLOWTITE® GRP pipe was the best fit for the project’s requirements. Several strength tests were carried out, with FLOWTITE® surpassing all requirements.
The FLOWTITE® product is light, strong and easy to work with. These added benefits made it the product of choice.
The Amaroo Main Sewer is located between Donnybrook and the existing Craigieburn Sewage Treatment Plant along the eastern side of the Melbourne to Sydney railway.
The continuous collaboration between Iplex and the customer for the duration of the project assisted in the project being delivered ahead of schedule.
