Iplex launches new range of "Smart" products

SMARTRAP

A new floor waste gully trap with an amazing space saving design reducing underfloor depth by up to 75%.



SMARTWASTE allows flexible positioning for grates and waste outlets and eliminates leaks round shower grates. SMARTWASTE is a moulded plastic floor waste, made from ABS, with a 15mm compressed fibro lid and fibreglass mat for reinforcing waterproof membrane. Good reasons to specify SMARTWASTE include:

• Allows grates to be positioned symmetrically with tiles and bathroom fixtures

• Avoids leaks under the shower

• Simplifies installation

• Eliminates riser pipes

SMARTPAN allows flexible positioning of toilets, baths and shower trays. SMARTPAN is a large bowl shaped drain below floor level - allowing flexible positioning of toilets, baths and shower trays. Good reasons to specify SMARTPAN include:

SMARTILE is an innovative new concept in floor drainage, eliminating the image of a dark and some times messy drainage pit in the floor. SMARTILE forms a neat, crisp edge to surrounding floor tiles giving a 5mm gap for surface water to escape (nearly double the capacity of a standard grate). SMARTILE completely hides the drainage pit below. Good reasons to specify SMARTILE include:

Iplex FK1 composite pipe is joined by a 'crimp style' dezincification resistant (DR) brass fittings with a copper crimp sleeve. For additional information on FK1, view the FK1 product details page.

GAS COMPOSITE TRAINING - NEW

Installation of Iplex K1 should be carried out by a qualified, licensed gasfitter. A licensed gas fitter must also have successfully completed the Iplex K1 gas system training course and have been accredited by Iplex Pipelines.

Note: installation of the Iplex K1 gas system must be in accordance with Iplex Pipelines' training course and guidelines. The installer should also ensure the requirements of the Gas Installation Code (AS5601) are adhered to. The Local Authority codes and by-laws relevant to gas installation may take precedence where they are at variance.
