DRAINCOIL is a versatile answer to subsoil drainage problems around buried structures and in agricultural areas. It can be obtained in 50, 65, 80,100 and 160 mm diameters generally manufactured from polyethylene although DN 100 is also available in PVC.

High capacity infiltration of water along the entire length of the pipe is achieved by rows of perforations. These are cut into the 'valleys' of the corrugations when the pipe is being extruded.

The key to DRAINCOIL's versatility is that it is supplied in long coiled lengths (up to 300 m in some sizes) as the pipe is both lightweight and flexible. DRAINCOIL is flexible enough to be installed around tight curves and the requirement for fittings is minimal. Flexibility also ensures that the pipe will accommodate ground movement.

The profiled or corrugated wall structure gives DRAINCOIL strength to resist external loads. The classification system allows for Class 100, 200, 400 and 1000. The choice of class will depend on the loading conditions including type of native soil, embedment and vehicular loads.

DRAINCOIL is unaffected by corrosion in any naturally occurring soils. Where necessary DRAINCOIL can be provided with a filter 'sock', and is also available un-slotted for use where infiltration is not required or fine tree roots may cause obstruction.
