Perform Calculations

The program can be run as follows:

Inputs:

• select the pipe material

• select the nominal diameter

• select the pipe class

• enter the Required Flow Rate

• accept or change the Colebrook-White Roughness default value (refer to help if necessary)

• accept or change the Kinematic Viscosity default value for water at 20°C refer to help if necessary)

• enter the reduced levels at the start (source) and end (discharge) of the pipeline and the length of the pipeline. Note that the reduced levels should be taken at the free fluid surface for fluids in tanks (or storages) or at the pipe centreline if the pipeline discharges above the free surface.
